ya im the sort of web troll who almost always finds censorship more offensive than the material it's meant to 'protect' the public from.

Maybe it's the american way to assert authority over all under the misguided delusion that it's for our own good..

really, I was set off more by not being able to find the ziv paper (the same one from ectrims?) so i conjured some delusionary conspiracy theory.

My gp was telling me a story the other day of going to a talk on ulcers by the australian who revolutionized that field in the early 90's. There were gastroenterologists there who were spitting mad and wanted him burned on a stake!

I just want to see some of this good data on ccsvi get published in a reputable journal. i got miles of word of mouth stories and unpublished reports...

Did Dr. Zamboni's original study not include entering the veins of his patients ? Thee ..Liberation Procedure ...

Dr. Zivadov ...... a Neurologist ...... DID NOT .... have the authority from BNAC .... to do more than perform NON - INVASIVE .... testing.

Am I missing something here ?

I wonder if the replicating of studies is something that just isn't being done anymore in science and medicine, and if it's not being done anymore, maybe there's a reason. I'm going to see if I can find out more about the use/disuse today of replicating studies -- if I find out anything interesting, I'll post an update here.

This makes sense to me. I think this was an attempt to replicate Zamboni's results, not of the later endovascular study but the earlier doppler ultrasound imaging-only results. With Dr. Zivadinov not being an expert at transcranial ultrasound doppler, he went with MRIs for the imaging.

Dr. Haacke's MRV protocol was released in October of 2009, if my memory approximately serves. Dr. Zivadinov's research had begun in the spring of 09. He was the first one at it but his instrument (MRI) was not yet refined....

There is also "fusion imaging" as discussed in this:

Anyone understand if fusion imaging has potential in CCSVI imaging/research? It's a "real-time combination of ultrasound and second modality" (second modality being MRV).
