Taking Gingko/Ginger/Cinnamon instead of baby aspirin?

Post by dc10 »

I read an article in a magazine about Ginger being helpful for circulation by inhibiting platelets from collecting together and wondered if it would be better to take this supplement:

Ginkgo Biloba with Ginger and Cinnamon :

instead of taking baby aspirin (75mg) every morning?

Lots of good information to read on this link about foods taken as natural blood thinners and foods that clot the blood.

dc10,

I'm not a MD. Only your MD can tell you what can replace baby Aspirin, like what supplements to take. We don't know the quantity that would equal a baby aspirin or how it metabolizes in each of our unique bodies.

Aspirin is synthesized much faster than food, IMO.
