Sorry, yes. She was definitely working on the Atlas and I had stickers on my neck. She was so gentle I only remember feeling a soft touch on the jaw. I wish I could watchDrKoontzDC wrote: I'm sure while it must have felt like she was working on the left side of your jaw it was most likely your Atlas. The contact point on the neck for the Transverse Process of the Atlas can be very close to the jaw especially if it is severely out of alignment.

hello,
I had another appointment with Heidi today but didn't need any treatment as what was done last week has held! However, by day 3 after my first treatment I noticed that I felt like I was being pulled quite strongly to the left. Heidi explained that this is because my brain thinks I'm falling to the right and so pulls me back to the left... I think that's what she said. I've also had a couple of days of almost fainting, but I don't know if this is related or not.
Day 2 felt really good.
So, next appointment is in a week's time.

Hello colapesce
It's common to feel a slight strain following upper cervical correction. The muscles and connective tissues have to readjust. The fainting can be related so let the doctor know if it continues. Over time, however, upper cervical correction will improve blood and CSF flow in the brain.

As an aside, Costumenational was one of the first people that contacted me through my blog and one of the first from the TIMS website. I was trying to decipher some of his records he had sent me and he said he didn't know the exact interpretation of some of the words. Not thinking, I asked him to just give me the medical terms because I can generally recognize the Greek or Latin roots. It always worked like a charm for my German, French, Italian and Spanish patients. Instead, what I got was all Greek. I couldn't understand a lick of it but it was fun to look at and ponder. It's so retro it's like ancient history.

Hey Dr Flanagan
I had an appointment today with Dr Heidi Cavendish Sq London UK.
Symptoms - feeling slighly dizzey plus that tapping feeling on the top of my head.
Dr Heidi carried out her assesment checking my leg length and useing a measureing guide on my hips it was confirmed that
I needed correction after holding it for months.
I think maybe decorating the house painting celings , hanging wall paper , painting doors etc pushed it all too far and in addition to that I really sloped off my gluten food anyways Im back on track.
Should any one need any feedback on Dr Heidi please feel free to PM me. Although she is very welcomeing and above all knows her field and for me the benefits are effective and I feel good.
For those visiting Dr Heidi a lovely cafe just around the corner one of the side streets

Just for the record, I've been seeing a UCC chiropracter since mid March. The biggest improvement for me is the reduction in muscle spams in my left leg. In the past it would sometines keep me awake for hours and occassionaly all night. For the past two weeks its been greatly improved. Some nights I have it for 15 minutes or so and other nights I don't have it at all. I haven't needed my "Restful Legs" pills at all during that time.
Also over the past year I developed a pain in a place I cannot mention in polite company. That has now gone from very uncomfortable to a minor issue, and is sometimes gone completely.
Weakness in my left knee is improved. I don't drag my left foot as much when I walk so the sound of my steps has gone from step-slide, step-slide to step, step, step, step-slide.
I don't notice any improvement in drop foot yet but I'm hopeful some improvement will occur in time.
I agree the adjustments are very gentle. My chiro referrs to it as "underwhelming".

Σε ευχαριστώ πολύ για όλα γιατρέ μου. Είσαι ο σωτήρας μου και σου χρωστάω αιώνια ευγνωμοσύνη.
Start pondering then

I get tears every single time I look at that page in your blog. I ll never believe how lucky I am.

And also, my feeling that I was not the only one that needs chiro adjustments was correct. bestadmom...Jesus...
Just for the record, I visited an orthopedic surgeon last week. I forgot to mention. I aint gonna have surgery since both you and Dr Koontz are against but a friend of mine told me I should go see him since he is one of the top in Greece. He wouldn't even charge me with money so...
He told me that even though he is indeed one of the best, he wont touch the cervical spine cause it is really a spot that requires some serious expertise that he doesnt have. He also told me that in Greece there is no one that good in his opinion and I should stick with chiropractic for the time being !!!!!!!
The only thing he was certain about was that my missalignments are the cause of ALL my problems beyond any doubts.
This came as a big surprise for me since I thought all classic doctors are idiots. It seems this is not the case...

Hello all,
I am happy to hear that Silverbirch is doing well and it looks like David is getting better as well.
Bestadmom, you have a challenging case so you have to be patient. You have a serious curvature problem. The bend in the spine causes a bend in the vertebral areteries, vertebral veins and the subarachnoid space which contains CSF. The bend alters fluid mechanics.
As I have said numerous times, about 1/3 of you who have contacted me have history of significant trauma. Another 1/3 of you have curvature problems such as scoliosis and kyphosis. The last 1/3 have what I would call migraine variants.
Costumenational,
I don't know what you said but it looks like a calculus to me.
There was another good old school type doctor in Kos who worked on the spine but I think he retired.

The surgeon ment there are no good cervical spinal surgeons in Greece but I got Dr Koontz and something tells me he is better than any surgeon.
