No matter what anyone feels about CCSVI and angioplasty it is certainly becoming a lucrative business. Lyon aka"horseface" I see you are at it again, this time in the comments section of this article!

Glad to hear it. I was kind of confused where it should go since he did have some improvements, but then lost them, but not all of them, but some got worse, and...well hey the improvement reports sounds good to me!

I've stretched the definition of what gets included in the thread, so that negative reports go in too when I come across them. We don't get many negative reports but some of that is a press bias (what reporter is out looking for someone who didn't get any improvements, when there are others to choose from who did?).

This one though counts as improvements, because he retained some lasting improvements even while losing some other improvements. I'd guess his situation is like mine was, where he may have had restenosis in one jugular but stayed patent in the other, so that his cerebrospinal drainage is better than it was originally but not as good as it was immediately post-procedure. But that is just a guess.

Sorry, though, this is a thread about costs!

financial costs of a first procedure
financial costs of a second procedure
emotional costs if expectations are not met
physical cost or toll on one's body from the travel, if travel is involved
physical cost/toll of the surgical procedure
emotional cost if the procedure is financially out of reach but wanted
physical cost to one's health if the procedure is not done
physical cost to one's health if the procedure brings complications
spiritual cost of believing this might work
spiritual cost of not believing this might work
