heat issues!!!

Post by jsimm »

I love out doors... I go camping fourwheeling and fishing every year and as a 30 year old man with two young children and one more soon to come I try to be active with them when I'm done at work. I was diagnosed this year and although my neuro said I've had it for yrs I've never had issues with heat until I started treatment. Is there anything to do for this

I've heard that prednisone can sometimes cause increased heat intolerance, and I'm sure other steroids might do the same. Sometimes heat intolerance occurs as the disease progresses.

Honestly, I found my heat intolerance to be much worse after I started treatment, and I attributed this to a combination of my being aware that I am heat intolerant and that my baseline of how I feel has improved enough that I'm noticing the variability in how I'm feeling more from day to day. I don't know if this helps but there it is.

I also noticed that an medication increases m heat intolerance maybe because of the immune system is being overwhelmed and causing even more inflmmation (whitout dealing with the cause...)
