If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Julie (Minai) in memoriam

Post by SarahLonglands »

This was her favourite picture of mine.

I got this letter just over a week ago:

"I'm not sure how much you are up to date. I think you should know.

Julie passed away this evening at about 6:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. She was with us at home.

I do appreciate the graciousness of the friendship you had with her. The prints you sent meant a lot to her. I will incorporate some in her memorial services, and then keep them as part of my memory of her.

It's peaceful now. She is in God's good hands."

Over a year of incessant trigeminal neuritis was just too much to handle, with everything else, but in the end she seems to have died relatively peacefully from presumably untreated pneumonia: a way I would like to die when the time eventually comes......................Sarah

An Itinerary in Light and Shadow Completed Dr Charles Stratton / Dr David Wheldon abx regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after four years. Still improving with no relapses since starting. Can't run but can paint all day.

Sarah,
Thank you for letting us know. Several years ago, I used to send PMs back and forth with her on a regular basis.
