I recently had a car accident in downtown houston when an elderly man ran the red light and hit my car on the passenger side. I felt a powerful jolt as my car slightly fish-tailed. I noticed some lower back pain, but I was so full of anxiety over the accident, I chose to not be checked out by anyone at the time. But later that afternoon, I had a horrible headache, and by the next day, the black floaters in my left eye had increased from their normal amount and the usual associated pain appeared too. I got a personal injury lawyer, thinking that the accident could've caused some sort of excacerbation. He promptly sent me to an affiliated chiropractor where I've been getting electrode muscle stimulation and adjustments. I am not noticing improvements, just other random muscle aches and spasms. The Chiropractor assured me that what I'm experiencing is part of the healing process.. Is he right? or should I discontinue this treatment?? I apologize for the short story
