Then Pradaxa
Then Warfarin
Currently Arixtra/Fondaparinux

it depends upon where the hypoplasia is. if it is low, it can be bypassed, if it is high, more difficult. if the junction of the sinus and jugular vein are intact, perhaps it will be possible to stent graft if not graft the obstruction.

there will always be possible solutions, even if our technology is not capable at this time. perhaps regrowth of new vein through the tissue will happen. perhaps an intracranial extracranial bypass.

right now, i tend to do minor dilatation. but it rarely does much long term. When i did major dilatation, nothing good occured.

Dr S have you heard any more from Paulo about the collar and if it will be a commercial 'tool'?

Other question have you been able to advance your understandings of VV's?

Franz Schelling made a comment to me that PwMS do better if they don't move, at all! I like his sense of humour and think that the reflux of the VV's, is, as he says an area that is poorly understood and has much more effect on symptoms than we are currently aware!

I have had the "chinese" version. They also do some interesting dishes such as insussuscepted pig colon, cow aorta, steer penis and deer testicles. All edible actually.

The only thing that has gagged me in china was local tea with warm fresh yak milk topped by dried yak curd. Absolutely the worst in china

Was there an angioplasty clearing of the stent in between each attempt?
I think that in addition to anticoagulation, flow is what keeps a vein from clotting.

Yes, there was angio and cleaning on each of the multple attempts, each time I left the hospital with good flow.
