Opexa Therapeutics Inc. (OPXA) granted an exclusive license option to Germany-based Merck KGaA's (MKGAY, MRK.XE) biopharmaceutical division for the development and commercialization of Opexa's lead product candidate, Tcelna, for multiple sclerosis in a deal potentially valued at $225 million

Another perspective... $5 million might be considered a weekend in Vegas to a company as large as Merck.reallyreally wrote:They must see something of value?!?!

Re: Merck Serono Enter into Option and License for Tcelna
It might be peanuts BUT it shows one of the big pharma guys thinks there's promise somewhere along the line. NOW... what I want Warna of Opexa to do is sign in zombie blood that he'll let someone like me write up the report on this latest clinical trial (when the time comes) so ALL the good news falls in the first sentence. That way, the bean counters on Wall Street don't have to exert themselves with hard science to understand what a great treatment this is.
After that, get the FDA kids ready to read and get this medicine fast-tracked by the end of the year.
And I also want World Peace and to wake up a size 8 tomorrow and never have to touch up my roots again. That's all.
