Hi everyone:
I am a 26 year old male, and I just received word that my MRI was returned normal. To my surprise they indicated there are no lesions.
I am at the place where I have been having intense MS symptoms for about a month. I've had everything from tremors, loss of cognition, speech difficulties, numb extremities, headaches, bowel issues, and when I take a shower I get really tired, become numb, and have some optical neuritis in both eyes. I'll be seeking a new neurologist, as my current one believes there are no issues to worry about.
Has anyone had a similar experience? This is almost becoming too much to take.
Normal MRI -- intense MS symptoms; thoughts?
Re: Normal MRI -- intense MS symptoms; thoughts?
I should say that the MRI was of my cervical, thoracic, and brain, all with and without contrast.

Hi nairb86,
Welcome to ThisIsMS. While your symptoms are similar to several of those experienced by folks with MS, they could possibly be due to something else. I agree with your statement that you need a new neurologist. Your current one seems like they are only paying attention to the MRI results and ignoring everything else. That's not a good situation.
