All of You, who are in personal battle for finding a solution, please read carefully the following material:

I think it is very interesting.

Thanks danirs. Fits with many of the vitamins I have found useful. We immediately think of sunlight/vitamin when we think of latitude but fail to consider things like soil composition. Clearly the answer involves latitude on some level.

It is a very interesting alternative theory for the reason for the geographical disparity in incidence and prevalence of MS. I don't know that this offers any personal solutions, though, except for those of us trying to ensure our kids don't get MS; we could make sure they get an iodine rich diet.

Interesting? It might have been back in the day - but today? No Way!

OK, lets look at that paper from 1999. Yes, that is how old it is - 14 years.
What is it based on? Correlations - thats what.
One or two of them could have been interesting at the time, but today?
If you have an A-B correlation, it only means that as A varies, so does B.
It does not tell you the direction.
It does not give you the cause.

Now it could be right that an iodine deficiency can cause (or lead to) some neuro conditions.
So where do you get your food from?
The supermarket - thats where. You do not know where the fruit and vegetables actually come from!!
If you dont know that, you dont know what soil they were grown in, or what they were manured with!!

So that paper, that looks so good is out of date, not good science, and missing the infoemation that matters.
Some of its ideas could be good, but they will need a lot of time with Dr Google to check out.
