ever notice on some products the label may say distributed by such and such co. so in so say nebraska--but for the most part even fresh veg.'s etc. if you ask for the most part they cannot or will not tell you where or what country it comes from. i've tried. with prices skyrocketing on everything it makes it very hard to find and purchase better food. so for many it becomes a choice of picking your poison. yes, they are really looking out for our best interest.

Re: as if our food source isn't scarey enough--
We give them our beef which is full of chemicals and they gives us tainted chicken nuggets. Sounds like a fair trade. I try to eat as little as possible of the process foods. Don't trust the labels. Did you ever notice most of the labels will say natural flavorings. That seems to be the catch all for whatever they want to put in the product and not give it a name. Why not give it a name and let me decide how natural it is. They tell us a little poison will not hurt us but they have a little poison in everything. Before long you have a lot of poison in your body and that is what is making us sick. It is all about the money with these jokers. It is a joke to think the FDA is protecting our food or drugs. Best not to believe anything they say. If you eat process foods or do the drugs you assume the risk. The FDA is not protecting us.
