If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Wheldon treatment

Post by Doyle1980 »

Hi
I'm looking for a bit of help please. I've recently been diagnosed with ms which I apparently have had for c10 years without knowing. I previously had chiari malformation and a serynx and had decompression surgery in 2008. It is from this initial scan that they have now realised I had legions which were not picked up on as the focus was in the chiari. So I have been blissfully unaware of my condition until a few weeks ago when my legs started to go numb. Theyare now both numb and partly my left arm although I do still have full power in my limbs and my sight and mind seem fine so far.
AnywY, I've been looking into the David wheldon treatment which makes complete sense to me especially since I've been having stomach problems for the past few months (nothing showing up on tests done though). I just don't know where I get started. How do I get on to the treatment?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hello, Doyle, and welcome! There are many subforums here at ThisIsMs that address specific treatments, so feel free to wander around and check them out. If you're mainly interested in the David Wheldon treatment, however, you should find plenty of info about it in the "Antibiotics" one, which you can reach through this link: http://www.thisisms.com/forum/antibiotics-f28/

Good luck, and feel free to ask as many questions around here as you want.
Dx'd with MS & HNPP (hereditary peripheral neuropathy) 7/03 but must have had MS for 30 yrs before that. I've never taken meds for MS except 1 yr experiment on LDN. (I found diet, exercise, sleep, humor, music help me the most.)
