Interesting appointment and went much as I expected.
Told the Dr all my symptom, most of which he said can be caused by many different things. He told me he doesn't thing I have MS because my symptoms are not caused by MS. He was focusing on numbness and poor balance. He tested numbness by running his finger across me and asking if I could feel it and was it the same on both sides (e.g. ran fingers across both palms simultaneously). He also tested my balance.
Even so, he is running all sorts of bloods tests including lyme, thyroid, B12, inflammatory markers, etc. I do not know all the test. In any event, he said if they all come back negative he will recommend going to a neurologist. Was kind've a joke - told him I am having hearing issue and he never even looked in my ears to see if they are blocked with ear was. Duh, what if my hearing issue is as simple as that?
Oh well, will continue educating myself and ask for the tests I think I need. We will see what happens.

Re: First Dr appointment with GP
Have you considered going to a Neurologist that specializes in MS?
(What makes you think you have MS?)
