During the past year, I have had a few issues medically that continue to build as time goes on. Started with being clumsy and dropping things to my reading words incorrectly and while speaking mixing up words in a sentence to mixing up syllables in a single word. Then I started forgetting what I wanted to say as well as forgetting what I go into a room for? I also get these little sparkling spots I refer to as fireflys in my line of vision and after a few minutes they go away. I was also waking up with what I can only explain as heavy legs.. .like they are dead or numb... I attributed it to menopause and hitting 50. Then one day in July I started feeling unwell and was running a fever and went to the ER. They said virus at first and then I developed these sore white canker like sores inside my mouth along the hard pallet of my gum lines and then went back because my heart was racing out of control and the Internist stated my thyroid was swollen and painful to the touch. Referred me to an Endo. Endo said my my thyroid was hyper ad diagnosed Graves. Put me on quite a few meds and went back 6 weeks later and now tests say hypo each week though my TSH levels get closer and closer to normal completely off all meds but Propanolol. Started getting these awful electric zaps ALL over my body like someone is electrocuting me with a shorted wire. They did RA, Lupus and Lyme... all negative... now I have painful pins and needles from my forearms through my fingers on both sides as well as my legs from my knees to my feet. Also have strange itching on palms of my hands with no rash. I also forgot how to spell my daughters name and write a few words last week. I also have this feeling like food is stuck in my throat at all times but worse when I eat. My doc scheduled MRI and Barium exam next week. Says everything I am telling him says MS. Those of you that have it... do the things I have been going through the last year sound like MS/
