lumbar puncture now feeling weak

I had a lumbar puncture on Friday due to new symptoms of difficulty swallowing and weird tongue sensations. My MRI did show lesions but as everyone knows it could be many different things. My Neuro feels that I most likely do not have MS as I don't present like a normal MS patient, but was concern about new symptoms and order an LP. The procedure went fine and I did everything they told me to. I have noticed that since then my hips and legs feel weak and shaky. last night and today as I was eating I would get a little nauseous and could eat very little. Has anyone else have this experience after a LP?

Nausea after an LP seems pretty normal. However, I had it hit me within a couple of hours after my LP. Give yourself lots of rest and fluids. If things don't clear up within a week of your LP, then you may want to call your doctor (maybe sooner if they get worse).
