I don't see anything on your MRI that looks like spinal cord lesions related to Multiple Sclerosis.
Your arrow isn't even pointing to something on the spinal cord.

Yes I did look at those images and then some. I see what you are saying but am not convinced of a B12 deficiency. I have a thoracic mri scheduled today. The radiologist just says I have a 2-3 mm syrinx from c5 to t1. We're suspecting it goes further down my spine than that. Will post again later.

I am a great believer in gathering information; I do not think you can have too much.

You have tested B12 – if you have not had a vitamin D test (the 25-hydroxy D test), I urge you to request one; it is not expensive ($50-$70 and is usually covered by insurance). I have recently read that up to 95% of the American population may be vitamin D deficient. In my opinion, it is possible to have more than one condition at the same time – perhaps some of your symptoms are due to a low vitamin D (or maybe this is not a problem at all – it is easy enough to rule out with a simple blood test)

Not quite sure what to make of this except the syrinx runs all the way from c4 to t12. Radiologist hasn't read it yet but I'm not going by what they say anyway. I leave it up to the neurosurgeon.

I believe the image to be a cell phone photo of an image displayed on a computer monitor (possibly a CRT). The arrow is simply the mouse cursor.

Thank you for your response NHE, I did recognize the arrow was actually the mouse cursor...but after my response.

I keep going back to the MRI images and I still don't see anything that looks like a MS type lesion on the spinal cord. I could be wrong but I have experience looking at my own MRIs and viewing what my Neurologist pointed out to me. I have what some refer to as Spinal MS and at one point there were numerous lesions on the cervical spine. I am not Primary Progressive.
