Waiting for LP results - how long?

I just had a LP about 9 days ago and I'm still waiting on the results. How long did it take others to get results? I have called the neurologist office several times but they just said they'd have the nurse call when the results came in. I had my MRI which showed 3 lesions in the typical MS areas and my blood work was normal. Symptoms include numbness and pins and needles feeling in left hand and fatigue. I know it can take a while to get a diagnosis but it's hard playing the waiting game.

it can take a long time and then the different components can come in bits and pieces. i would guess they are waiting until they have everything. i remember that wait being super annoying especially for the last piece of the puzzle (my neuro told me the different parts of the results piece by piece). but at the end of the day, things often just aren't as urgent as they can feel when you're in that crappy limbo phase. i dont recall how long i waited but it was not forever. just longer than i wanted. you'll get through it!!
