My neuro says that if it doesn't last for 24 hours or more, it's not a relapse....just an exacerbation. I know what you mean about worrying about moving onto SP or PP. My biggest fear is not that I'll be in a wheelchair someday, but that I'll move onto SP or PP.
BTW, I had a "charlie horse" on my foot the other day. That was a first.
Loobie, why won't you take Ditropan?

PP is primary progressive. It would not be possible to go from a relapse remitting state to a primary progressive state. In primary progressive, the disease starts out as progressive with little to no distinct relapses. A change to a secondary progressive state would be the progression of the disease from a relapse remitting state.missvicki wrote:My biggest fear is not that I'll be in a wheelchair someday, but that I'll move onto SP or PP.

Miss Vicki,
I don't take Ditropan because the side effects really get to me. If I keep peeing the bed I'm going to have to give in and learn to live with it, but that stuff literally gives me "in the desert" cottonmouth and makes it so I don't sweat at all. Very frustrating when exercising because I get major over heated when on that stuff.
