Hi to all,

I will be off line for a while. I must go back to my phone booth for a quick change of clothes.

Best regards, Tim

In 2001, my family helped fund the startup of Opexa. My father served on the Board of Directors of PharmaFrontiers, now Opexa Therapeutics, until the company completed a successful 23-million dollar financing round.

Now if we get you one of those Dr Who types with the roomy interior, you could throw a great big party! :D

[I explained to her nicely how lucky and spoiled she is that before she even had to seriously experience the wrath of MS, she is experiencing improvement.....to the point that symptoms not noticeable in daily life are going away. And I told her that although there is never and could never be a good time to have MS, just be thankful that you have it at THIS particular point in history]

Bob,

I couldn't agree with you more. I have had many blessings in my life and while, of course, I don't consider MS one of them, I do consider myself very blessed to be in this Tovaxin trial.
I'm so glad to hear that your wife is doing so well. It' been said before, by others, but your wife is very blessed to have you in her life. (Okay, I know I've used the word blessed 4 times now, but I don't believe in good or bad luck.)
Here's to hoping and praying for no more attacks.

Heather

P.S. Yea! I figured out how to quote! I only hope I can do it again. Regardless, I am quite proud of myself.

[Is it really bad luck to say "blessed" too many times? ]

I just re-read my post and realized it made little sense. (Tonight I will blame it on the Mexican Martini I had with dinner.)

What I was tring to say was that I don't believe in luck, period. I'm Catholic and despite all of those Irish bookies out there, I don't think we are "supposed" to believe in luck. (Don't quote me on that, I'm difinately not a theologian. )

Bob and all,

Thank you for these posts on Tovaxin. My husband has lived with this disease for over 30 years and his sister has also. I read this site everyday because it comforts me to see how well most of you in the trial are doing. It is my hope that Tovaxin will be on the market soon to protect the rest of our family - our beautiful children, nieces and nephews.

My husband's neurologist, who is the head of the MS Center in our area, didn't know anything about Tovaxin. I gave him papers and he said "wonder why I was never contacted to participate in this trial". Does anyone know the timetable for Phase III and will other sites be asked to participate? Will they have the money to conduct Phase III trial? What is the best scenario?

Again, thank you all. You are helping more people than you know.

Has anyone read about RTL1000? My husband would not have qualified for the Tovaxin trial (age and secondary progressive). Is RTL1000 similar to Tovaxin?
