Any good news stories? 20+ years and doing ok?

If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Thanks very much everyone for sharing your stories. It helps to learn that many people are leading relatively 'normal' and uncompromised lives. I like to hear that most people don't fall to the extreme end of the disability scale. I just find it so hard not to worry about what may happen. Its been three years for me and I've had only one episode (but a number of transient symptons) and I want to live in the moment and appreciate things (which I do, I know there are people who are suffering and dealing with a lot more than I am). It is true that the highest profile ms stories are those of people who are quite disabled, so it's good to learn of 'good news' stories. :o)
