You're making it up
One of the MS websites I visit lists the top 20 news articles on that day which refer to MS. The usual story is about a new treatment. Today, half of the news articles had included the name Bin Laden in the title. Could terrorism and MS be linked?
The story is a 51 year old, five time married, British grandmother with MS who has married the 27 year old son of Bin Laden.
Must give hope to some of the ladies who use this site - you can have MS, an interesting love life, and end up with a man half your age (albeit the son of the world's most infamous terrorist).

This has already been done. A while back I was watching a PBS show which discussed the problem of weapons left over from the cold war. One segment of the show stated that the Soviets had put a gene for a myelin protein into an infectious bacterium. They would then expose experimental animals to the bacteria. The animal's immune system would then mistakenly recognize myelin as foreign protein and would start attacking the animal's own myelin.Grumpster wrote:It sounds like a diabolical plot to use her to extract the "MS factor" and turn it into a biological weapon. That would suck, a biological weapon that makes you feel extra crappy, lose motor control and potentially become depressed.

Hi Bob,
" Semtex" is a popular brand of explosive used by all the best terrorists. I thought it was an international brand but perhaps I was mistaken. By now, those governments spies will definitely be listening so I have a message for them: " divert some of your massive funding into curing MS!"
Ah Well, I'll just have to put it down as a bad joke wasted,

That is it, I am now officially blaming the Russians for my MS.
Geesh - Bin Laden, Russians and Symtex, this thread is for sure getting some NSA attention.
