New from Ohio

Post by Jill »

hi, i'm jill from ohio. i am a newly diagnosed ms'er (9 days ago), but have been dealing with the bizarre symptoms for quite some time. wish i had a dollar for every doc who missed the diagnosis! i'm trying to educate myself, power is knowledge...and seeking peer support. i'm still rather shell shocked about the diagnosis and am waiting to wake up from the bad dream...pinch me someone! i've looked around this site and like the open mindedness. i'm more into alternative type health care, so i was glad to find this place. thanks for the haven.

Welcome Jill.

It sort of sucks to be a member of this club but I think you will find that it is full of wonderfull people who will give you all the support they can.

That first little bt of time after the DX is rough. The shock will wear off with time. The important thing is to deal with the disease, not to ignore it because it just won't go away.
