Minocycline trial risults

Post by Frank »

There is not much info about the study.
Treatment period was 3 years and positive results were seen for relapse rate, atrophy and T2 lesion volume as visible on 3T MRI.

Any dosage info?

I'm interested in ABX but I can't find any useful info about the regime (dosage, timing...).

Can you provide some useful links?

Thank you.
Best regards!

Hi Damjan,

there was no dosage-information provided for that study but I would assume (from the usual practice) that they gave 200mg (2x 100mg) per day.

If you are interested in ABX treatment for MS the antibiotics forum here at thisisms.com is full of useful information and people who are willing to help you get started.

Frank,

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering when they were going to update on this trial.

Can anyone get the full study? I'd like to see the new data in its entirety.

If so pm or e-mail me.

Thanks,
Brock
