Please don’t take this the wrong way Dom but I always took comfort in your ms being so bad because I always knew that no matter how I felt or what I thought you could understand so if there is anything that you’ve felt or thought that you think no one could understand we do, so if you read this or not. thanks
There is a lot of folks I’m sure that go to ms meetings and sit with a group of other ms people and share stuff but I don’t this place is my group

Ditto. Me too.but I don’t this place is my group
I can come here, free to be me free to see what you all have to say about this crappy journey we are on any time I need it. I have learned great things from others on the path, if edss is a placement on the path, I'm an 6.5--cane all the time and bilateral support for longer walks.
I have appreciated the wisdom of everyone, and was deeply touched by the post you did, Dom, about how it is not so bad to look out the window and let life flow by. Caught unawares, it reminded me we really are not a human "doing" but a human being. I felt the peace in that and that helped me think I might be OK, even when I get there.
Thanks for being here every single person! Light and blessings to you Dom!

I just hope he is reading all of this. He is definitely our patriarch in terms of wisdom and how we all SHOULD treat this disease mentally and emotionally. Like Robbie said, there're not a whole lot of MS related situations that he hasn't been presented with. If you're reading this, I love you man!! I just wish he could bottle up his attitude and we could all drink from it.

I miss Dom too and have been wondering how he is. How are you Dom?
Robbie I'm the same, don't go to groups, this is my group right here.
I have always been in awe of your psychological health, intuitiveness, kindness and goodness in your replies to others on this board Dom.

I'm missing Dom and his one of kind posts...he always makes wonderful connections, has great insight, and can even find humor in the dullest medical journals. A Dom post meant there'd be thoughtful discussion and well-mannered replies. He never had a nasty word for anyone, and always managed to find something positive in the darkest situations. Plus, I just liked to see his smiling face.
Dom, I hope you're writing your beautiful music. Know that you are loved!

I am comparatively new to this board. But, I have to admit that all the posts I've read by Dom have struck me as particularly insightful, clear and brilliant. I had a bit of time and looked thru some of his (your) posts from the beginning and continue to be taken aback, particularly by Dom's level of courage and generousity. Please keep posting.

When dom posted this http://www.thisisms.com/ftopicp-46626-.html#46626, a whole new avenue opened up in my understanding of this disease as a vascular disorder. Thanks for posting Dom. I hope you come back on site soon.
