Sore Nose

Post by Sammy076 »

Hello,

This is my second time on Rebif and each time I get a very sore nose. I know this sounds silly, but I dont know what it is. It hurts to even touch the tip of my nose.

Has this happened to anyone before? If so, what is it? What can I do?

Thanks,
Samantha

Samantha,

I too had a sore nose. This is crazy isn't it. If I mentioned it to anyone I got a "your crazy" look. It hurt really bad to blow my nose.

I am off Rebif now and the nose is back to normal.

Bloody hell, I've had that too. Why I never thought to blame Rebif or MS I don't know. It doesn't happen all of the time....sorta like every 3-4 weeks?

Cheers

Low humidity and dehydration. Drink more water. It is easy to drink too little in cooler weather, but you need to keep the intake of fluids up. If you can, increase the humidity in your home or work place. Otherwise, rubbing a little mentholatum or vaseline inside your nose, and also on your lips, will help keep these tissues from drying out.
