Sharon at Stanford

Post by Needled »

Hey Sharon, I saw you posted over the weekend on The Experience Project while this site was down, and I figured you’d be busy all day today at Stanford. I just wanted to wish you well and let you know I'm thinking of you. Please let us know how you’re doing when you have time.

Hey all! Thank you for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. It is kind of late and it has been a long day, so this will be ashort post.

The tests are in - I have a blocked left jugular - 99% blocked. Right jugular is okay. Dr. Dake thinks he sees something in the asygous, but is not for sure. He will check it out tomorrow when he does the stent placement in the left jugular.

I have talked with Holly (Peekaboo) today - she starts her tests tomorrow-she has access to a very old and slow computer, so I told her that I would check-in to TIMS for her. She is ready to get going with the program.

Tomorrow I will be at the hospital at 6:30am. I am saying good night - I'm tired - will try to update you tomorrow.

WOW. Thanks for checking in, Sharon. Know it's been a long day. Will be interesting to see if anything is found in the azygos as he goes thru there....we'll be praying for smooth sailing and an easy procedure tomorrow.

Whoever thought it would be good news that your jugular is 99% blocked???? I'm still not sure it's exactly good, but it is amazing. Off to work now, but just wanted to check in. Thanks for the update.
And please give our regards to Holly as well. Here's to hoping her problem is found, too. :)

This is unbelievable.

Cause or effect, I guess we'll find out - but the evidence is mounting.

Sharon too, Holly will find out today.

Jeez.

99% blocked - its a wonder you could lift your head!
