ONO-4641

Post by Lars »

I just received an invitation to join the ONO 4641 trial. I really know nothing about it. I thought before I wrote it off I would see what anyone knows about it.
Thanks,
Lars

I checked clinicaltrials.gov and sorted by ONO and no trial was listed w/4641 ...othersuffix's were listed by the same co.

Peekaboo,
After rereading, I think this might be recruiting 2 studies in one press release. The other is CS-0777. I still don't now anything about either. This came via the Rocky Mountain MS Center.

You should go for it! I'm amazed we are recruiting for anything because when I asked them to follow up with my HiCy therapy if needed they told me they were not going to be doing anything for a couple of years because they were just toooooo busy.

Chris,
There is also a Campath study there. Care 2 only I believe. They actually seem to be recruiting heavily for a number of things. The "Bravo" study is also happening.
Bob and Chris,
My mind is so tired, please forgive me if I should know this, but is one of these trials oral Tysabri?

ONO-4641

Post by neurodoc »

From ONO Pharma website
ONO-4641, a sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P)
receptor agonist, is developed for the treatment of
multiple sclerosis. The drug is a low molecular
weight substance having pharmacological actions that
keep lymphocytes in lymph nodes, reduce
lymphocyte count in the blood, and as a result inhibit
infiltration of lymphocytes into lesions. The
compound is therefore expected to be an innovative
drug for the treatment of auto-immune diseases such
as multiple sclerosis, one of the intractable diseases.
