Normal or not normal - temp sensitivity in cheeks?

Need a reality check here. The situation:

Warm, humid climate, so I'm feeling hot, sticky. I go wash my face with cool water. And I just don't seem to feel the coolness on my cheeks. If the water splashes on my neck, or edges of my face, I feel it there. But not on my cheeks/center of face.

Normal? (Maybe cheeks just aren't all that temp-sensitive?)
Pre-menopause? (I'm new to this, hot flashes just started this year. Cycles still more normal than not.)
Or add to my list of strange things my body does?

Gotta reality check, because I lose track of what is just normal, and what is not. Will really feel dumb if I mention it to my doc and he says, "Well, nobody feels that, silly!"

Adding: This isn't complicated. Someone go splash cold water on your face and tell me what you feel. : - ).

i don't have sensory issues on my face but before dx, i did have different temperature 'readings' in my legs for a while. it's been gone for years now and i don't think of it unless something like this reminds me. i used to sit down on say, a wooden chair, and it would feel cold to one leg, and not to the other. kind of similar i would think. and your doc probably does not have a comprehensive catalogue of all sensory experiences memorized, so there's probably no need to worry about a reaction to your report!

Okay, so weird temperature things par for the MS course. That's good to know. Really I'm just wondering-- maybe it's normal not to have strong temperature sense on the cheeks? Do you?

If no one here will run a test for me, I'll have to use the children as guinea pigs, lol. ; - ).
