Post by thebestthings »

Hi everyone,
I am New here and wanted to say Hello. My name is Tami and I am 42 yrs old.I live in Ohio.My Family Doc did a mri because I was having severe headaches and they have been getting worse over the last year Every headache is brought on with vertigo or Dizzyness like I will pass out and this continues until headache is gone. Blurry eye sight sometimes that lasts for awhile but no pins and needles. Some days My legs get heavy like I am carrying 20 pound weights around.Well anywho, the Mri (contrast) came back I have white lesions (NOT SURE HOW TO SPELL THAT) and Doc says looks like Ms. I will know more when I go to the Nero Doc and Nero opt Doc.But I have been reading about MS on the web alot lately .I am terrified and overwhelmed, worried and sad.Trying to talk Myself out of the idea that I might have this.We (Dh and I) are raising are 5 yr old grandchild and I am worried for Her. I don't understand Ms and never knew anything about it ? I have a million questions and I feel sooo scatter brained right now.Maybe it is something else thats wrong with Me.
Thanks all for reading and letting Me vent.Good luck to all.

Hi Tami, You are in the right place. I am sort of new too, but I can tell you that this is a good place, even though I am sorry you are here. There are lots of really smart and caring people here. I like the energy here. The people are focused on helping themselves, and others, and not just fussing... although that is allowed too. Take care.

Welcome Tami,
And don't panic. There are lots of ways to try and help yourself, whether it being through nutrition, exercise, LDN, antibiotics, copaxone, rebif, CCSVI (see all the boards) Everyone on these boards are trying to help themselves in some way and there are lots of discussions about the positives and negatives for everything.
It will probably take a while to get through the info, I hope it is not too overwhelming. Educate yourself as much as you can.

Welcome.... If you werent worried and have a million questions, you wouldnt be normal! :D Personally, I would get a second opinion. Never hurts. Talk to your doctor and see if he can give you something to help with your "anxiety", just something for 3 weeks or so. That is what helped me and calmed me down enough to deal with it. After two weeks, I was calm enough to "take in" what I was reading and researching. Before then, I was reading everything and not soaking anything in!
