thoughts please

If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Can the problem be as simple as she's just not chewing her food enough?
i kind of wondered that myself!
i think it's important to investigate kids' symptoms, but not to go overboard and turn them into hypochondriacs either.
i'm not a parent so that may not be worth much, but there it is anyway.

hey scorpion...
Wow. Really scary. Jeff and I worried about our 14 year old son when he'd get heat exhaustion after exercising. It turned out he just wasn't drinking enough water before and after he ran or worked out. He's been fine since we figured it out, but we both had our "oh no" moments.

As a parent, keep your eyes open, but try not to telegraph too much fear. Kids are so sensitive to our worries.
One thought I had- maybe she has allergies/infection and her adenoids and tonsils are painful or swollen. Let the docs figure it out and trust she'll be OK. The odds are that this is nothing to do with MS-

believe me, I been there. Keep us posted-
