Since I found out I was pergnant, Adam & I have been looking into moving because the place we live now is not suitabale for me at the moment, let alone when I am heavily pregnant or have a newborn.
We can't afford to rent a bungalow privately so we are trying to get a property through the local council. Despite the fact that my house has steps into pretty much every room and only 1 bathroom - upstairs, is not wheelchair accesible and making life hard I have been given the lowest priority for re-housing. And though they have classed me as having high mobility needs, the only property that they will allow me to apply for is a 2nd floor flat in a block with no lift, that doesn't allow young families!
I am feeling frustrated. Does anyone have any experience with UK council housing? How can I move this along?

Mrs George.
Best of luck with the housing issues. This kind of thing makes no sense to me.
On an off topic note, I am in CA for my follow up for the CCSVI procedure I had and we were in a food market and I saw PIMMS for the first time and I thought about you!!
