Zamboni at Charcot foundation meeting !!!!

Post by ozarkcanoer »

The CCSVI Facebook page has a new entry this morning about the Charcot Foundation Meeting in Europe. Apparently Dr. Zamboni and Dr. Salvi will have their CCSVI posters there. It's being held in Lisbon November 12, 13 and 14. I was disappointed that Dr. Zamboni is not giving a talk !!!! We all know the lack of impact of his posters at ECTRIMS. The Charcot foundation page has a button survey to see if a "topic of interest" has not been included. I voted YES !!!!

Hmm, not so sure there was a lack of impact. From what I heard, they got a lot of attention. People were interested. Not an easy thing to measure.

I certainly wish more were happening regarding testing, and that others will continue to step up and do interventions for CCSVI. But I think the neurologists especially need to see published data on results as well as clinical trials. And I am all for advocating, doing a ton of it myself, but just wanted to say that I think there is a lot bubbling going on, impact in a way, while the wait for some key information continues.

HI OC,

I get things are going to boil over in St. Louis after your meetings last week, especially once you see your results form Dr. Haacke.

bestadmom, I am hoping beyond hope for things to boil and bubble with no toil and trouble in St. Louis. I have been emailing the Hope Center's Administrative Director with as much pertinent information I can find that will appear well-founded enough that it won't be brushed off. I am taking a tour of the Hope Center this coming Wednesday... and I hope this will be another opportunity to talk about CCSVI.

I see my neuro this coming Thursday, when I will give him the fait d'accompli of my participation in Dr. Haacke's study. Someone posted this morning that registration for Dr. Haacke's study is already closed. It must be a small study, maybe only 10 people. I am also giving more information to my neuro about Dr. Haacke's study plus cheerleader's Sept 8 symposium notes. I am afraid of my neuro's reaction.

Apprehensively but hopefully,

ozark

So Charcot is over... does anybody know what happened there?
