They must give something for topical pain. The needle in the femoral vein had to sting a bit. Maybe creamof ELMA. I also wonder if they have a room on ground floor so you wouldnt have to do stairs? Has anyone checked prices and condition of other hotel with elevator? How long was before you could function normally? Plus fish oil I know is a blood thinner. I never heard anyone say how much oil to do the job the same as aspirin. I know if I take too much I bruise easily. I slept on a 5 inch incline bed last night. dont know if I can do 6. I am already about to fall outta bed..lol...prior it was 4 for 2 nights. I may try another inch later. How many inches do you elevate? I saw the diaghram on here saying 6.
Best Wishes
Matt
Hi Matt,
Well, I did not feel any pain only when I pushed the groin. I saw only one or two drops of blood but it was my fault I was movig too much and too fast. Just my bruise was bigger. I bought some heparin gel in a Pharmacy next day. Well, I have created more bruises. My balance is better now so I do not create bruises anymore.
They only have room on ground floor in hospital but only on the first floor in the hotel Franz Josef for sure. I asked them.
I think Mutley uses wheelchair and he stayed in another hotel.
Function normally? It is difficuilt question because I do not know what normally means for you. I left the hospital next day and I went by myself to another hospital in 2 days - by Taxi and I went home to Slovakia by myself by train - 4 hours and than by car.
It was not a problem for me so I think to be sure you need to have at least 2 days rest after the procedure only because of the groin. My MS was already better - I had more energy and my fatigue was much better.
Just do not dance
I did not know fish oil was a blood thinner!
Yes, you should sleep on 6 inches. My nausea in the morning is away for sure but I still have some problems with headache even in the morning.
