Just received a nice letter from the good doctor...staff is now hired to ready the animal trial and to get the human study underway. The MS Innovations Fund is up and running-

Dr. Dake will be presenting his research at the Hamilton conference, as well. He could use our support to make sure the university stands behind his work.

Stanford Trials
I have drafted the e-mails and letters. Will be sending them out today.
Just a suggestion to all those who underwent the procedure at Stanford. It would be useful if you can mention in your e-mails/ letters all the health benefits you have experienced after undergoing treatment by Dr Dake. This will further support the case for resumption of trials at Stanford.
I am sure most of you would have done it anyway.

The problems have been discussed many times here, and are not limited to Stanford. Some in the medical profession are resisting trials to explore the CCSVI theory, because it goes against long held beliefs about the origins of MS. But rather than casting blame, I feel we should commend them for their leadership so far, and encourage them to continue in the lead by completing the trial.anybody know the backstory here? Are the animal studies still going on?
