I thought this was news worthy enough to put this in the general forum instead of the stem cell forum.

The trial has only just started, that's the news. The first trial of its type, in humans. A sort-of precursor to trials with MS patients, using stem cells on a disease with a bleaker prognosis and less treatment options. Less, I hate to say it, to lose if things go wrong..whyRwehere wrote:Did I miss the actual result of the procedure?

Oh, I see, you mean, because the procedure occurred three days ago? I think that it takes longer than that for stem cells to be effective. I remember reading before about a 2-3 month time frame, but perhaps that was something completely different. In any rate, the results would take longer than that to be analysed and published.
