Hello, I'm new here.

My first MS episode was 12 years ago, and I made a complete recovery, with not much to report for the next 7 or 8 years. After having a couple of children, I had a relapse, and since then I've been told I'm probably SPMS.

I'm not on any medication. All I have had recourse to has been three methylprednisolone boosts (1998, 2006, 2008). I'm very reluctant to try any of the DMDs that the neuros have recommended. I'd rather try LDN first, but my neuro isn't willing to prescribe that, but I'll see what I can do.

The CCSVI theory looks interesting too.

Welcome Claire, Sorry it has taken a couple of days to say hi but for some reason it didn't show any new posts to read in the intro section.

I hope you find lots of useful info here.

Try E-med to get LDN in the UK, they send the script to Dickinsons chemist in Glasgow x

I may end up going the E-Med route, but I'll try my GP first. Just in case!
