Im sorry to learn you are as frustrated with Zambonis silence as I am. I guess we will both hang in there
I'm afraid to say it but you are 100% correct. My post may be deleted but that's okay too. I just stopped in to look at some of the posts and it seems NOTHING has changed here. The people are still rude and one-sided. I have posted on many many sites and this is the only one that remains judgemental. It is fine IF you agree with most people here on the subject of CCSVI but if you don't...... well then! There is a sense of cult following on here and that is very sad. It was meant to help ALL people with MS; not just the ones who agree with your point of view! I have seen people judged, ridiculed, called names (such as troll which is pathetic) and even "thrown off" this site, even when they had issues that showed they needed genuine compassion. My goodness, why are you all so rude and insulting to everyone with a different say? What is this site here for? To me, it is here if you 1. AGREE with them 2. DON'T voice your HONEST opinion 3. have NO views of YOUR OWN and 4. If you had or will have the procedure done to join their "clique of special people". I was very disturbed to find these kinds of people literally leaving their brothers and sisters with MS kicked to the curb.... be smart, go find another site who cares about their fellow MSers regardless of what they do or do not believe in.... there are so many out there. GOD bless each and every person who lives with MS every single day of their lives; YOU are in my heart and prayers NO MATTER WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN...
...and remember, people who live with MS have enough suffering in their lives for anyone to add to it! Praying for a cure and happy with hope!

Thank you Lyon & MamaGirl,
it is a wonder why these two would not monderate themselves and seek participation in another thread. Apparently they don't realize participation is optional. Perhaps being dumb isnt.

MamaGirl:

I'm glad you posted that, and I have to admit to having many of the same thoughts.

Bob brings up a good point. Many here have joined relatively recently, and may be used to the policies at other message boards. The moderators at many MS websites will delete individual posts, close or even delete entire threads that they perceive as too heated, or not in keeping with their guidelines.

Thisisms isn't like that - it's pretty much unbiased in that respect, which sets it apart form other sites. I think the moderators do a good job of balancing keeping things free and open, while having to delete posts in some rare instances.

Before they start coming after you I just want to say thanks for having the guts to express your thoughts, despite the repercussions.

I'm not sure where all these newbies got the idea that if a thread doesn't go to their liking, it's only a matter of petitioning the moderators to close it.

If the mods start that crap thisisms might as well start taking contributions from pharmas.

Thank you so much Lyon.. you have a kind heart to have answered my post. I agree as much with closing a thread because it is not liked... why? again is it because it did not AGREE with YOUR way that you want the thread closed. In all fairness, I am a good person with good values and I have a tremendous heart for all people. I feel sad when they are sad and hurt when they hurt, especially the underdog. I was also raised to respect the opinions of others EVEN if i don't like it! I CHOOSE to keep those morals. I have gone through MUCH pain and losses in my life... far too many to write of and I have children that I raised alone with MS symptoms and now I am reaping the rewards of fantastic friends, family, children and grandchildren. We reap those rewards when we reach OUT to others, not because they are like us, but because they are people. No one should be made to feel their thoughts don't count or don't matter... EVERY persons thoughts matter; you don't have to agree with them, you just have to be kind and have compassion and listen. THAT is the way I was raised and that is how I believe people should behave. NOT dismissive, not cold and uncaring, not a well i don't care what you think attitude. There are many good people on here, they are compassionate, they care, they show it. I am happy for all those who did the procedures and GOD willing, they stay feeling great but there are also those "searching" for answers, not necessarily THEIR answer; maybe they are afraid, maybe they need time.... they have the right to all that and more and they should not come here looking for help only to be made as though they are inferior. I am truly sorry if this offends anyone... that is NOT my intention. My intention is to remind everyone that the reason this site was opened was to help people with MS, help them learn and grow, help them vent and understand more.. and that's what should be done!!!! GOD bless!

"Before they start coming after you"

Who are they, Lyon?

I'm starting to feel a little bit tired of being accused of belonging to a cult. I mean, unless you identify who are you talking to, people could take offence.

There are lots (the vast majority) of people interested in CCSVI that doesn't fit that description and, like me, are normal people eager to share their experiences and knowledge and to help each other.
