How Do They Test For CCSVI-I'm A Newbie

Post by JayQ »

I was just told yesterday that I have MS and this is all new to me. I got my LP results yesterday. I have had MS symptoms for the past 5 years, and had a positive lumbar puncture. I recently started having venous insufficiency in my legs with swelling and pitting edema (2 months ago) and had to start taking fluid pills to bring down the fluid and the more I walk, the more my legs swell (my right leg swells a lot more than my left leg). Could this be related to CCSVI? and if so, how do they test for it? and what kind of doctor do I need to see to test for it?

Any information is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
