CCSVI in Bulgarie

Post by isadora »

Bonjour ... je suis attentivement ce forum depuis longtemps, car mon fils age de 24 ans et demi, il a ete diagnostique de SEP en juin 2009, mais en vrai, son SEP a debute silencieusement 3 annees en avant, ete 2006. Mon fils vit a Paris.

I'm from Sweden and I go to Bulgaria on 27th of April. I'm looking forward to finally find out if I have some problem with my veins. I'm curious if someone of you are going to be there at the same time as me?
If you are it will be nice to know for fun. Maybe we meet there and we can change some expirience with each other.

I have an appointment on the 28th of April! One day after yours. You can write to me at petite_28_2000@yahoo.com We can talk more there instead of here. :D

Hi,
I dont how you feel about this folks but I go to Bulgaria every year on holiday and dont get shots. I find Bulgaria really clean and the thought has never entered my mind to do it. Im booked in for 1st June and wont be getting shots. I already had a holiday booked there when Bulgaria came up. I phoned and they managed to get me booked at the hospital while on holiday. Hope this helps.

Thanks Karen,

A neuro told on a TV show that it was a really poor country "Tiers monde" he said.

What a judgment!

To each their own.....for me I figure I'm sick enough now I don't want to add anymore sickness. I'm sure you will be fine without the shots, I just want to take every precaution that I can. :) Congrats to you! You'll be liberated soon too :D

So glad you have your appointment. When did you make your request?

I made mine on the 26th of February, but do not yet have a confirmed date.

HURRAH! we got ours too. 28th June......

Now looking at this:

http://en.geyatours.com/02/403-42-30/index.html

looks quite comprehensive and is rec'd by the hospital itself.

Lots to do as you say. I'm really pleased that we are starting to get our dates through. Good luck everyone.

CCSVI - Non conclusive Doppler!

Post by RoxanneLo »

Hello Everyone!
I am new on this forum, however I have been reading your comments for a few weeks now and I find this group very interesting and helpful.

My brother has PPMS and is on a list for Bulgaria. Dr. Grodzinski kindly replied to my email and told me he should been seen in September.

My question to you all is about the Doppler Ultrasound. My brother had one yesterday and it was non-conclusive. Has this occurred to anyone else in this forum? Is it possible that the narrowing of the veins could be seen on an MRI or MRV? We don't really know where to go from here..

Thanks for your help! :-)
