Hello all,
I think I have finally worked out how to do this post! I'm 55 and was diagnosed 8 months ago after an episode of optic neuritis and some fatigue/dizziness. No previous symptoms that I can think of. The vision has improved, but I still have some blurriness when it's warm and during/after exercising.
It's been one scary and steep learning curve.
I'm now self injecting with Avonex - took me 6 months to overcome an acute needle phobia.
I've been watching the CCSVI debate with a lot of interest and hope. I'm about to be assessed for CCSVI - booked in for 8th and 9th April.
Look forward to learning lots more from the forums.

Hi Smokey,
Welcome to ThisIsMS. I'm also watching the developing CCSVI research closely. In the meantime, be sure to check out the Avonex forum and feel free to ask any questions you might have. In addition, many folks, including myself, have found some supplements to be very helpful so also check out the Natural Approach and Diet forums.
