I am reluctant to leave on such a long flight back to Montreal right away. I am going to look for a return flight on June 14. That way I am leaving a buffer of 3 days "in case".

I had pre-looked into flights. Air France seemed pretty good.

Yes, Air France has the best flights from Montreal, one stop in Paris, no terminal changes.

Now looking at hotel options...

I'm not sure if you were talking about Paris or Bulgaria If it was Bulgaria here's some info..
There is a hotel right at the hospital for family members. My husband is staying there while I'm in hospital.
After being released we are staying at the hotel Greenville.

This is what Diana Nikova from Gaya Tours sent me. She arranged it all.
Accommodation -20 euro per person/per day
Breakfast, lunch and dinner - 15 euro per person/per day

Accommodation – 105 euro for double room with breakfast/ price per room per night

For anyone that has written recently to Geya Tours------

I apologize for the delay, we had a problem our email: office@geyatours.com and we lost all emails between 13-15 march.

I think if you're staying for under 90 days and it's for touristic purposes then Canadian nationals don't need one - just a return ticket.

I don't think anyone on this forum has been. It's just starting in Bulgaria.

I, too, would love to hear from someone, but I don't expect we will for the next few weeks.

I think the end of April is the first group getting the procedure. They are busy getting all their ducks in a row now.
