so I brought this up before but I was hospitalized last week when I went to the hospital and could not move my neck the muscles in my traps were frozen and rock solid and enormous pressure in my eyes and teeth and face then all of a sudden I had a motor disturbance that I still dont know if it was central or neuromuscular junction. I am hoping that it was an MG chrisis. the doctor at scripps basically said that only central and neuromuscular junction distubances can drop you that fast and then to recover almost as fast as it came. I asked the doctors for the tinsulin test to see if it was Myasthenia and they said no you dont have MG and tried to give me depicote. I think they said no just because I asked. once again I have had demylination in both c spine and peripheral. so I am already all over the place. my mri was normal but I heard that central motor disturbaces dont always come with lesions like in ALS.
anyone know what this is. my thyroid tests are mostly normal almost elevated but not quite. I hope you all dont mind but I post here now because I belong no where else and everywhere at the same time.
eye bulging and stiff neck

Did they check your PTH (parathyroid)?

http://www.hormoneproblems.com/Parathyr.htmThe sole purpose of the parathyroid glands is to regulate the calcium level in our bodies within a very narrow range so that the nervous and muscular systems can function properly........
Other symptoms of hyperparathyroidism are the development of gastric ulcers and pancreatitis. High levels of calcium in the blood can be dangerous to a number of cells including the lining of the stomach and the pancreas causing both of these organs to become inflamed and painful (ulcers and acute pancreatitis).
