UK to Poland payment ???

Post by lilaclomax »

Which is the easiest, cheapest and quickest way to pay? I have the details now (took a while to get the correct address for the bank this morning) and have the money in our current account ready to go.
I could do a bank transfer, this takes 3-5 working days and there are charges and their exchange rate is not the best.
I have been told about Caxton fx who gets a good review from The Money Saving Expert and I could have an account set up tomorrow. They do not charge a transfer fee and their exchange rate is better than the high street banks, money comes in from a debit account and gets paid to any foreign bank within 48 hours.
How has/is everyone paid/paying? My dates are the 16th and 17th of March but the email asking for payment only arrived Thursday evening and I received it this morning on my return to work! I have spoken to Marta who is happy that the payment could take up to this time next week to reach their account.

Thank you
