Scan Report Plese let me know what U Think

Post by seabee22 »

 Both Internal jugular veins and both vertebral veins on right and left were examined with the patient sitting and supine.

Increased venous return was detected in the sitting position in the vertebral veins on both sides howere, this was not persistent in the supine position.

The internal jugular vein bilaterally demonstrated normal phasic signals.

No evidence Crossed Out: of occlusive venous disease is demonstrared.

Carol . Thanks for your replies.[/b]

Hi Seebee,
in the sitting position the main drainage is from the vertebral veins;in the supine position the jugular veins come into play so I think the test is normal.
It would be nice to know if the velocity measurements were normal too.
Good luck
