UK: How long did it take to get to Poland, who did you fly?

Post by adamt »

Hi,

I am going to go to Poland in May - either Warsaw or Katowice.

But i have looked online for flights and they are quoting travel lengths pf 8-12 hours!!!

i read it only takes 2 and a half hours to get to these locations in Poland.

They quote these times with 1-2 stops. but is there a way to get there with no stops?

did your travel include stops? if so how many..

thank you

Hi Adam,

Ryanair and easyjet go to poland, check both their webs. Thats great you have a date, that was quick in getting it when there is a waiting list.

Best of luck

I flew direct from Birmingham with Ryanair and it was less than two hours. You can also fly direct with Wizzair from Luton.

Good luck.

I am going with Lot polish airlines from Heathrow to Warsaw and then taking Intercity train to Katowice takes 2hr 20 min/ Hospital is 10 mins from station. I found this preferable to trying to fly to Katowice via Germany with long stopovers.

We went with Wizz Air from Luton to Katowice - it took 1hr 45 mins to get here and is estimated 2hrs for the return journey (we are still here). The total return cost was £112 for 2 of us including an extra luggage allowance.
