THIS ULTRSOUND FOR MY WIFE
Exam : US DOPPLER VENOUS

TECHNIQUE:

Bilateral jugular vein Doppler ultrasound
FINDINGS :

Abnormal valve leaflet seen in the right IJV (enlongated) with evidence of reflux flow.

Reflux flow is seen in the left IJV .

Finding are suggestive of CCSVI .

I suppose those are good news. Now that the problem has been found it can be solved. Do you have already a place to perform the surgery? While I was looking for one, I found an arabian association of interventional radiology

I can do the surgery in Jordan .. but i am still waiting more reserch
it cost in Jordan about 6000 dollar

Here in Europe the price is around 5000 euros. I suppose is more or less the same price. We are trying to find a doctor in our home country so that our social insurace covers at least part of the price.

So am I understanding correctly that you got the test done in Saudi Arabia? If so, this is terrific news! You might want to share the details of who did it if you are permitted to.

Dear Akeed,
I met a doctor in Jordan his name is Dr. hazem habboub.. He is a very good interventional radiologist... And there is a doctor al omari which i read about in this forum...Let us know if there are more doctors. I really wish the best for your wife... please keep us posted.

I think it has started in Jordan but not sure about Kuwait yet.

I have a short information they have started in Kuwait.

Aug. 7, 09 Doppler Ultras. in Poland, left Jugul. valve problem, RRMS since 1996, now SPMS,
- Nov.3,09: one stent in the left jug. vein in Katowice, Poland, LDN, never on DMDs
- Jan. 19, 11: control venography in Katowice - negative but I feel worse
