UV Radiation suppresses disease independent of Vit D

Is UV Radiation Responsible for suppression of MS and not Vit D??

Study- "UVR is likely suppressing disease independent of vitamin D production, and that vitamin D supplementation alone may not replace the ability of sunlight to reduce MS susceptibility."

I suspect that there is much more (epi)genetic expressions in our body when exposed to the sun's UVA/UVB rays than we currently know about and infact just look at the p53 gene as UVA/UVB activates it in our skin cells and body.
