Looking for competent MRV, Doppler testing in Texas

Post by GinaMass »

I succeeded in getting orders for my MRV and also the Doppler from my GP.
I am desperately searching anywhere in Texas to have them done. Of course if need be I will travel. I do have a referral for the Doppler out of state. I am paying out of pocket for the testing so I want to be confident where I go they are knowlegable.
Perhaps a thread should be started with contact info of knowledgable people state by state in the US?

Gina, if I were you I'd try and find a place willing to go straight to the ECD that knows the proper protocols. I was able to get an MRV for my wife in Texas, but they are just not reliable in diagnosing CCSVI and are rather expensive, and only give the Dr the necessary ammo to go further. ECD is also non-invasive, much more reliable and will provide better information to your IR or Vascular Surgeon. Here is a post with our images: http://www.thisisms.com/ftopict-10862-.html

The ultrasound images are much more telling in my opinion....but we still haven't found a place to get treated. On the waiting list for Dr Sclafani.

Gina,

Have you had any luck with finding someone semi-local?
