Lactoferrin colostrum whey protein powder

Post by LR1234 »

Hi anyone tried any or all of these?
I am taking all 3. As I have not eaten dairy for about 14 years its a little worrying to start as I know I have issues with cows milk but hopefully the goodness of these products will outweigh the bad. (we will see)

Also I am still debating whether we should be stimulating our immune systems. There is so many conflicting opinions.

I have just found this site. I have been adding Colostrum to my diet in the form of 400mg capsules for nearly 2 years and have seen some slight benefit to my spms ( 30year slow decline). At times I have added Neuro P (soy phosphatidylserine/coline) with interesting results. The cow colostrum seemed more beneficial until I started taking Ampyra (4Amino Pyradine SR) which seems to mask my previous benefits I felt from adding Colostrom. I also believe my addition of 1500 IUs of vitamin d a day helps both colostrum and Ampyra regimens.

It's okay to take whey?

Post by robtorris »

I've had MS for over 27 years (dx'ed in '83). I've been spms for about 10. I'd been considering using whey protein but am concerned about overstimulating my immune system and bringing on quicker progression of my MS.
Could anyone help with information? :D

Thanks!

Rob
